The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competences in the workplace. The qualification is about the management and delivery of physical, emotional or enabling care to client/service users. The candidate will be managing and delivering care in the support of others, and will be accountable in the area of practice. Like all NVQ’s this qualification is competence-based. This means it is linked to a persons ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work.
